These terms set out the agreement between MyScholarSchool and the schools that subscribe to the platform. They're written to be clear and fair to both sides. Please read them alongside our Privacy Policy.

By creating a school account or using MyScholarSchool, the school and the individuals it authorizes agree to these terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a school, you confirm you have the authority to bind that school to this agreement. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Each school is responsible for how its account is used. In particular, the school agrees to:
The school is responsible for activity that occurs under its accounts, so credential hygiene matters — see our security practices for how we protect the platform side.
The platform must be used lawfully and respectfully. You must not use MyScholarSchool to:
We may suspend accounts that breach these rules
MyScholarSchool is provided on a subscription basis. Schools pay for their plan and for usage-based services — such as messaging — through a prepaid messaging wallet, which is drawn down as messages are sent.
Subscription fees, renewal dates and wallet balances are shown in the school's billing area. Unpaid subscriptions may move the account into a limited state until payment is resolved, as described under Termination below.
Schools are responsible for the accuracy and lawful collection of the student and parent information they enter. This includes having an appropriate basis to hold and process that information, and providing any notices to families that local law requires.
MyScholarSchool acts as a processor of that data on the school's behalf. How we handle it is set out in our Privacy Policy.
We work to keep MyScholarSchool available and performant, and we monitor the platform continuously. From time to time we perform scheduled maintenance, which we aim to carry out during lower-usage periods and to communicate in advance where practical.
We don't guarantee uninterrupted availability, but we treat unplanned outages during school hours as our highest operational priority.
MyScholarSchool is provided on a commercially reasonable basis. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss arising from a school's own failure to secure its accounts or to enter accurate data.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Our aim is always to resolve issues fairly and quickly rather than to rely on these limits.
A school may cancel its subscription at any time. On cancellation, the account moves toward closure: access to paid features ends, and the school enters a grace period during which its data can be exported or the account reactivated.
We may suspend an account for non-payment or for a breach of these terms. Suspension is intended to be recoverable — resolving the underlying issue restores access. After an extended period of inactivity or non-payment, data may be scheduled for deletion in line with our retention practices.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory protections available to a school or family under their local law.
